ABOUT DR SRUTHI

Dr Sruthi is a globally trained general dentist specialising in general, cosmetic, preventive and restorative dentistry. Her journey in dentistry started in 2005 when she was admitted to Bachelors dental training in KSR Dental College Erode, Tamilnadu, India. She completed her BDS in 2010 and went on to complete her Dental Council of India Accredited specialist training to obtain a Masters degree in Dental Surgery (MDS) Oral Pathology and Microbiology in 2014 from the Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University. During her postgraduate years she practised as an independent part time general dentist in South India for a period of 4 years.

She furthered her dental education with multiple observerships at Australian Dental Association affiliated private practices in Adelaide South Australia such as Northwest Dental, Paravista Dental and Preventive Dentistry between 2016 to 2019. Her mentors have passed on valuable techniques gained from international centres of excellence such as University of Adelaide and University of Sydney. She was assessed by VETASESS (a trusted partner for the Australian Government) to have comparability as a Research Associate/ University lecturer in 2019. She is experienced in using Oasis, D4W, digital radiography and research microscopy and is competent with Cerec technology, CBCT, dental trauma, Protaper rotary endodontics and sleep dentistry.

Dr Sruthi was honoured with the award for the best paper award 3 times, firstly in 2009 at the GDC Annual Scientific Seminar for her presentation on Mandible fractures and again in 2010 at the TNSDC conference for her review on implant supported overdentures and finally in 2013 at the IOAMP Conference for her research on staining techniques. Dr Sruthi has been involved with ground breaking research on Oral Cancer, post graduate training and administration in her alma Mater.

Dr Sruthi is a life member of the Emirates Medical Association, Dental Council of India and Indian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist.

Dr Sruthi currently practices in Karama Dubai, UAE as a general dentist specialising in cosmetic dentistry, whitening and veneers since 2019.

Her philosophy is all about prevention and offering holistic care providing a boutique-style dental practice making each of her patients feel like part of the family. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys cooking, cycling, and spending time with her family.Sruthi is a trained Indian classical dancer in her own right.As a former Kalamandal Academy student in, Kerala, India she continues her passion for dance in Dubai by teaching classical and fusion dance forms at Mad About Dance Academy, Karama, Dubai.
